There really isn't one spot where the musicians go here. It's pretty spread out. I've lived in Philly since 1999 and I'm still finding out about new places. The music scene in Philly is actually pretty decent, but there is definitely a lack of exposure and focus in the scene. Everything is pretty much underground... in Philly, it's the dance clubs and restaurants that get all the attention. All the small music venues are just shitty little clubs that seem to regularly close the doors and then reopen months or years later under a different name.
