I have two Toneczar modded Ernie Ball pedals that are rock solid, well worth the $150 each.
Cannot be compared to the Boss EV5, the FoxRox etc which I also have.

After the Toneczar I would check a Roctron Hex ($69.00). Looks like solid plastic, but the great advantage compared to the other typical light weight expr pedals;

"An adjustable rocker tension screw allows you to adjust the pedal action for a lighter or heavier "touch".

(Taking the foot/heavy boots on/off many of the flimsy light weight pedals will easily mess with parameters; delaytime etc)
