| I'm always collecting sounds and then adding them to my banks. I've got my banks seperated by sound (i.e. Kick bank, snare bank, etc.) and I just pull sounds from those when I start to make a new beat. To mix things up, sometimes I'll start with a different sound (other than the kick like I tend to always do) and start building from there.
