Yeah, I'm getting ready to record all the samples from a drum machine I have. I plan on recording a normal sound and for some, a compressed sound too. I'll probably have to do a similar organization, however, I will probably group the compressed wav and the normal wav in the same folder.

For example in the 'Snare" folder I'd have:

bigSnare1.wav
bigSnare1_compressed.wav

and so forth and so-on. I think it would be more conveinent to audition effected/uneffected samples in the same folder, rather than going back and forth between directories.

Out of curiosity, would it be unethical to sell samples from certain drum machines?
