bands are overflooded also and im sure every teeny girl wants to be britney still. problem is what most people dont understand in music things have to change. u cant have 1 type or style of music going for 100 years. the best are the ones that move with the times, u either move with the times or u will be moved out. look at someone like madonna, u think it would have worked if she still stuck with what she did when she started? hell no... so the underground rap days are over, it has its time and its gone. your main problem is this, if u aint gettin played on mtv or radio u aint gonna make it, unless u already have a strong act.
biggest problem right now in the rap/hiphop selling beats? i would say people wanting to get signed but they just adding to the junk, its more important to be signed than actauly producing something good.
