I love that plug-in. I've never really had a full grasp of what it does. i do know that it increase the 'perceived' loudness, but otherwise I'm at a loss for an explanation. I do like what was mentioned above bt Jonathan Starr, ' sounds like it's turned up to 11'. Nice description.
Try it first in line on the heavy guitars and feel it peel your face off!!!! Make sure you trim the I/O accordingly.
