Please solve this everlasting mystery for us:

What's going on during the opening track for Steve Harley's Best years of our lives album? We can hear a synth intro, then some jazzy piano tune with vocals, one single doo-bee-doo followed by laughing, then during the fade in of Mad Mad Moonlight someone screaming "Ouch!"

What was going on inside that studio? Did Steve hit somebody on the head with a microphone or something?
