For the price I think it's a good buy. I definitely wouldn't be purchasing it for mic pre's . It would mainly be used for Routing and Monitor mixes during tracking and HUI for mixing. It has 3 Apogee D I/O cards installed.
I'm running the Digimax D8's currently lightpiped into a 003, and hitting the D I/O card shouldn't degrade audio quality .

Maybe around June, I'm looking to throw an AD 16 in the mix, but probably go for a Rosetta 8 and some Vintechs and this would integrate perfectly with the D8B
