aiight well i will have to duplicate their success...in short can u tell me what i will need to do that ?(equip...plugs etc.)...his album has the best bottom so far this year...i do not like the mixes on Kanye;s stuff and the dipset stuff is bassy but so dirty...also i noticed jeezy's vocals are not that thick and upfront like the stuff in dre's camp...they are a lil airy to be truthful...but it sits so well in the mix...i guess u have to decide if u want alot of bass or alot of vocal presence and clarity...the only 3 albums i've heard with equal balance has been lil jon's album...usher's...and 50's...im looking into getting a digi002...testing out a bunch off mics and pre's...reading this forum gives u no conclusive answer as to what u need to produce banging hip hop so i figure if i just get a few nice pieces...a rosetta...and a sub (i already have the 824's)...turntables and some break beat albums...maybe a new sound module (motif or phantom)...i should be in the ballpark...i dont wanna get too technical and stifle creativity...but if u know of some other gear that i should get to get that sound im after...by all means let me know...peace
