I could care less about the record, but some people like it. I am discussing the sonic qualities of the song. U must not know what southern rap is. Regardless of the branches or variations of it, its still southern music. Hence the heavy 808 drums and percussion. Ti mixes, clean, jeezy mixes clean, Gucci mane mixes clean and that's all so called trap music as south as it get. The sonic clarity and definion does not make it pop. Converters and computers are the main tools used now you shouldn't expect it to sound like take, if ur comparing what u think is the quality of southern music pre 1999. Music period never sounded like this... but things change some times for the worst. But its their single it had to be clean and poppy that's all that's on the radio they just had to fit the format.
