I can attest to being in session with Fabian. Dude is extremely talented and a force behind alot of the Young Money/Khaled/ Miami made music that has come out in the last several years. I never give any other engineers secrets but I will say that when mixing their process is very minimal, concentrating more on the purity of the sound. Alot is done in Miami at The Hit Factor and/or Circle House.
Just want to clarify, like the poster above, these dudes know what they are doing, Fabian, Miguel, Infamous, and the rest of their team is not low budget, nor do they skimp.
With all that being said. I'm a fan of the non-stacked vocals that sound pure like a single track... that doesn't work on EVERY emcee though. Alot of guys still sound great with adlibs and a thick wall of sound behind them.
