I use mine with a PC and it works fine.
It could be your MacBook.
Is there something specific you can describe that you're having "trouble" with?
What DAW are you using? Sonar, Cubase, Logic, PT?
I assume you've corrected the FW grounding issue and have all the latest drivers and firmware?
I assume you have a compatible FW chipset in the MacBook and have tested it with the A&H compatibility tool?
