Prepare for a slight boost (~1dB) at about 400Hz on every emulation.
Forget the PYE 84, especially for a kick drum. It shows an lower cutoff frequency at about 150Hz, which is equal to a lowcutat 150Hz. I don't know many instruments that need to be cut so high.
Watch your headroom. I compared the UAD to the liquidmix.
One main difference is, that the UAD shows much less distortion on
compareable emulations (1176LN, LA2A). That means: Don't drive the
liquid mix to hot, except you want much distortion.
