You sound a little defensive there and I'm not sure why. There are no semantics to discuss - we're simply referring to modern technology, and all I'm saying is that sample playback isn't new at all. In technological terms its eons old. "Good" sample playback, now maybe that's new, made possible by better means of recording and even more so by faster computers with enough memory and horsepower to allow people to create MUCH better libraries. But I was recording and playing back audio as a kid on my home PC a couple decades ago. I never imagined anything like Arturia and things of that ilk in those early days.
