I do think it's cool that the technology today allows the capture of such work and the distribution to artists around the world.
And I've never heard a Moog emulation sound like a Moog. These drums do sound like what I recorded, but that's more about the technology involved.

Check around via the Moog, Arturia sounds great for instance. Buggy, but sounds great.
And yes I've used the real deal many many times.
