anyone else using these on a G5 dual? My system slows to a crawl with 8 of them on drums, and the fan on my G5 if on full tilt as well.
in activity monitor on a 40 track session at 24/48k is at protools CPU 45%
when i put in (1) stereo drums CLA, i go to 75%-80% +/-
i'm wondering if they are not as taxing on the system using a new Intel Mac Pro's?
anyone wanna check and see and report back.......... wanna see if i'm gonna have to upgrade my PTHD cards to use a Mac Pro 8 core soon.
Love the plug in, not sure if it's just not optimized for a G5......... i know my G5 is a bit outdated, i guess ill switch to a Mac Pro 8 core soon if it looks like i have to to use cool stuff like this.
