But there's lots of people here that have created their own, i for one have, and many of them sell plugins too
, i don't but i might end up giving away some in the future.
Do I do it to make everyone sound the same? Haha... Out of my own chain, I would say I usually only have about 20% of the plugins engaged if that. And I have a
very selective chain, painstakingly filtered from the huge pile of truly s* - from a mastering perspective. And only about 25% of those are my own plugins.
There really isn't such a thing as "cookie-cutter mastering." Just "cookie-cutter idiots", if they bother to charge people for it.
This has no relation to Bob Katz or K-Stereo of course, he's got my utmost respect, for real. Just conversatin' or possibly starting a flame war.
