I like Altiverb for any stuff! And if you know how a cool reverb is built... then add just the missing parts if ever: for example a little chorus (btw I'm a big fan of TCs chorus/flanger hoping the powercore stuff is the same like the hardware), modulation pitch...etc. The cpu power of your G5 is well enough.
Said that I also wanna recomand you an alternative: an old PCM 70 or 60, it goes for around 500-800 on ebay, is easy to use and hard to get wrong... very cool for rockstuff and a nice complement to your TC stuff.
