You might consider a pair of AT Pro37's for OH, Room, even guitar cabs (seriously) and reamping. Also effects percussion and hand percussion. Excellent design, fast, detailed transients, and handles high SPL's really well. There's good reason why more and more people are turning to the pro37 and it's not about price.
Other obvious app's are acoustic instruments, even flutes - but that's beside the point with the music you're focusing on right now.
