Hey Guys,
I'm wondering if any of you have a spare moment to have a think about the room which i am currently converting to a "recording room" (the control room is located in the adjacent room)
I am about to start treating the room, my idea is to have the "top right" (in the 2d image) used as a very dead vocal corner. And otherwise treat to room to get rid of the "boomyness" and the very short echo in the room.
The walls are made of standard single sheet plasterboard as is the roof.
The floor is made of pine floorboards, and i will be using a large rug to cover 80% of the rooms floor surface (the rug is 2cm thick)
I will be using 24 of the panels pictured, they are 12" by 12"
Unfortunately i cant remove the lounge and desks as this room is multipurpose, quite annoying but i have no other room to keep these things.
I also store most of my gear in this room, most of it fits under the desks, but 2 amps and a Rhodes are placed against the walls.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
If any more images or details are needed to make an informed decision on what i should do I'm more than happy to provide them.

I'd Also like to add, i have read the forums concerning treating rooms similar to this one i find the information very informative and i take the advice into consideration. However any assistance that you could provide in this specific instance would be most helpful!
Im also currently "leafing" through the master handbook of acoustics by Everest and Pohlmann which is most helpful in understanding what i should do to treat this room.
