I received some leftover MMA mats. The dimensions are 3'3"x6'3"x1" thick. The top of the surface has vinyl and the bottom is created from the closed cell foam material. I was thinking of applying them on my walls. Would they help any for soundproofing? If so, is there a proper way to install them? I want to say they weigh about 35 lbs.
