wow. Philly is no joke. my old band was on tour w/ AFI in 2002 and we played in philly, met some chicks who took us to their parents house in some upscale-ish type neighborhood. Stay the night at the house and lunch time the next day the girls took us to the mall by their house to get some food from the food court. our drummer made a comment to some preppy asshole in the music store who said something about the color of his hair, no big deal. Leave the mall and head back to the chicks house to get the van and head out.. Out pops a car full of preppy ass mother ****ers with chains and bats and other random objects, they followed us from the mall I guess...
it wouldnt even have been close. 3 of us and 2 chicks vs. 1/2 of the varsity offense, w/ weapons. We went inside and chilled out until they finally left.
sorry to derail, but your post and the fact it happened in about philly made me think about this!
