It proves that sound insulation doesn't grab knobs and make your mixes better all by itself. Would their mixes improve? I'd put money on yes.

OP-It could be useful to hear your mixes at a "pro studio" but it sounds like you are happy with everything except the low end and Time=$. IMO, going somewhere other than your studio, to find deficiencies in your mixes is a band-aid. Fix your setup, you'll enjoy it more!
