Yep. And police usually arrive after the fact. They are useless in preventing most crimes. That's why I'm a HUGE gun advocate. I'm not putting my trust in anyone else to defend me but ME.
Storyville, go take some classes, go to the range, and get yourself real familiar and comfortable with firearms. With the economy the way it is, things are only gonna get worse. You gotta defend yourself. You might not want one, but what do you NOT want more? Getting your life threatened? Or having a gun?
