I would also dump the idea of a lappie and interface for a decent analog console and a pair of HD24's. In the end, your rig is a lot more stable, reliable and cheaper.

+1 on the Orchid or KT move... However, I have yet to need more than a transformer isolated 3 way split for standard tracking. When I put rig #2 on the road next year, I probably will load it with the KT's to make tying in to video trucks a lot easier/cleaner.
