| Getting Jumped Outside The Studio! Yay!
So, I had a late night at the studio. Closed up around 1:15am. Decided I'd walk home. I'm out on the main drag and some car pulls up to me, slows down a little, rolls the windows down half way. My antenna goes up. They drive ahead of me and I think to myself "If they make a left into the parking lot up ahead, it means they're coming back around to jump me." Sure enough, they make a left into the parking lot. So I cross the street - it's a two lane with a median. Half way to the other side, they start yelling all sorts of threatening stuff, and start to make a right out of the lot to come back for me. So I book it onto a side street, dip into someone's backyard, hop a fence and lay low. They drive by on the side street, and after they're out of ear shot I move myself around through some back yards until I can see the main road from some bushes. And then call the cops. These guys drive up and down the street for a good little. Eventually the cops show up. I'm informed that down the road, the car matching the description is pulled over. The passenger I saw matches my description, but I'm informed that words such as "We're going to get you" and chasing someone in a car are not considered "threats," and there was therefore nothing more to do about it.
And once again, the police system merrily lets me down....
