| I was forced to use a Nagra on a film shoot a few weeks ago with a not so great shotgun mic. I didn't do the transfer myself, but listening back to it- we have a TON of noise. The dynamic range and (lack of) headroom aren't what i'm used to.
Perhaps the mic'ing of the actors was poor, but everything sounded slightly distorted and really thin. |
