I've just started setting up my mobile recording stuff. I'm using a Macbook Pro 2.53 with 4 GB RAM, Logic Pro 9 as a DAW. I will record mainly pop/rock bands (mainly playing all togheter
)so I really need good suggestions from you for the basic gear I should buy.
I was thinking to save money to buy an Apogee Ensemble and good set of mics. What other gear should I buy? Do I need a mic preamp or maybe the Ensemble would be enough? I would really appreciate your opinion.
