The offline bounce in Studio One is REALLY zippy, very fast, so I wouldn't miss freezing as much.

I have not checked to see whether S1 allows you to deactivate a track, like PT ("Make Inactive.") Logic does not have this feature, which stinks. If you want to do an offline bounce, but preserve your original track (with it's VIs, etc) it's nice to be able to make that original track inactive, hide it, and pull it out quickly if you need it later to change something.

In Cubase I record tracks using external effects as inserts. I then freeze the track and then use the external EQ's and compressors on other tracks and then freeze them. Could not do that in Studio One without the freeze option.
