Seriously, it's hard to watch the reckless denigration of a highly respected profession, especially when it involves music.

If someone doesn't want to send their mixes to a mastering engineer, then don't do it. But to publicly put down the value of mastering, especially on an internet forum, doesn't help anything, and runs directly counter to what many of us know to be a valuable part of the recording process.
