Thanks for the reply. I suppose if I'm being realistic the amount of time and effort and frustration wouldn't exactly be proportional to the amount of increased sound quality. Maybe I'll just do the transformers and call it a day, since that seems to be the most important part. It would kinda suck though to buy 2 Pre73's and they end up having different bias voltages and different output levels.
