True... some had Sovteks, some had Chinese "dragon" tubes, others had Electro's. Mine had the Dragons so I bought an E-H and it made quite a difference for the better, the harshness vanished, but it got a much warmer "fullness" in the lows that needs a lowcut, at least on my voice. Still considering changing it to a Tesla or the like.
