Sheer convenience. If I need something along the lines of a cheap cable or mic right this minute, I go to the mom and pop store. If I need something in a hurry that is a bit better, I go to Guitar Center. If I need anything more than 5 days away, I go to Sweetwater or B&H....although I am going to give Zen a try with my next order.
