i made some more with these smaller 50x50cm frames which are made to be covered with fabric. what's cool is the frames are only £3.99 each and they don't have to look good because they're completely covered in fabric. the traps are thin but i'm using the pretty dense rockwool that i have leftover. the pics are self explanatory i reckon, excuse the mess

i'm going to put them right at first reflection points to stop more direct reflections from the speaker, and i can move the bigger ikea panels (ie the one with the 'interesting' pattern) back a bit.

the fabric i got from ikea is cheap but needed doubling up because it's thin. but colour wise, in person, matches the GIK 244's nearly perfectly

i'm going to have 2 above mix position, on the ceiling

and then 2 more on the ceiling above usual vox tracking position.
