I didn't perform or produce this. Just mixed it. He already leaked it but it sounded like poop. I told him to let me fusk with it.
This is the first time mixing someone else's work. I did it for fun and practice. I give the dude a break cause he's only 17 but I asked him to send the PT session to me and it was a pain. He doesn't know ftp and he ended up sending me each audio file individually through a send service. 
So I had to basically puzzle all the vocal bits into place. It wasn't that hard with his mp3 as a reference but it would have been nice to have a session. At least I had a clean canvas to work on.
So that's it. I took a shot at it. How does it sound? Not looking for an artistic critique, just sonically. Even if it sounds like shit, it's 10 times better than it was. Young Prince - Valentine Girl |
