Though on Smashmouth, it sounds quite good.

BAHAHAHAH so very true... just listen to the drums on the album "Start Something" .. caged animal drums.. bleh!
but they serve the song in a refreshing, non-distracting sort-of way and I do find myself singing along more to eric valentine albums too........
