| Logic EXS24 MK II problem! Anyone? Help!!!
Maybe i'm just being stupid but....
I got a piece of audio, put it in Recycle, choppped it into slices and exported the slices as aif's or wav's into a folder, they are all called "myaudio01, myaudio02, myaudio03" etc.. they are named the same but numbered right...
I put the folder containing these pieces of audio where i keep my EXS24 Samples..
I open Logic, open the EXS24 instrument editor within Logic..
select NEw, Load Multiple Samples, find the folder, select all the samples i exported from recycle earlier...
As the samples are single layer 16 bit slices, i just wanna lay them accross the keyboard map...
I select Chromatic..
EXS24 imports all the samples but does not order them numerically according to the filenames???
It seems to randomly mix them up?
Now... i'm sure that back in the day in OS9, in Logic 5 with EXS24 MK I this used to work just fine and they'd map according to filenames.. ie. "blah01, blah02, blah03" accross the keyboard....
What is wrong here? am i just plain dumb? i don't mind, i just wanna fix this...
I have to go a long way round to put this right and get the samples in the order they where sliced in recycle....
Whoever solves this for me, will have my grattitude for sure!
