If all Goes well with the financing
The really HARD thing is the SSL will cost as much as a house!
I just feel the decision to go with the SSL is right because of the proven track record,
The SSL will hold its value better than other consoles(except the 80xx series Neves)
And the maintence wont be as bad as the Neve V series
(I cant afford the 80xx series)
Also I hope it will bring clients to the studio who wouldn’t come if i had a
Amek,Trident,Euphonics Ect.....
And it will fit my style of recording and mixing.
