As far as your question... your setup is alright... what type of midi patchbay is that? The MOTU Midi Express 128 is really good! I'd maybe invest in a decent mixer or patchbay so you won't have to unplug or plug in everything all the time. Both of those makes life way way easier! Your gonna want it eventually...

Its a Digital Audio MX-8, and there is a mixer there maybe look at my "horrible diagram", its a Speck X.Sum
