Latest Mac Pro w/ multiple screens

apogee ensemble
neve 1073dpa
hardware synths of choice
mpc4k or asr-10 w/ turntables
decent monitors- I like dynaudio and JBL
Midi controller- small semiweighted like akai mpk series, as well as an 88-key fully weighted if you really get down on the keys (I like CME products)
macbook pro with apogee duet for travel
thats just expensive for no reason. I am not saying don't invest in yourself but you say his setup is outdated then tell him to get an asr 10 or a mpc 4k? whats wrong with the 2kxl he has in mind. And then a midi controller on top of that? then get a macbook on top of the mac desktop? just for starting out? Idk I hate working with 2 computers anyway kuz I always want files from one system or the other but this can be really simplified to a midi controller a laptop daw of choice decent monitors decent interface
