Find a cool sample that catches your ear, cut if up if you want, or loop it, replay it back in the sequence your own way, etc.
The process is quite basic.
As you get better you learn to do it better, of course, add other samples, etc.
Just do it.
Tony is right. Just find a sample and start manipulating it.
