Can The Finger = AD Replicant?

Can NI's "The Finger" do everything that Audio Damage's Replicant can do, only that with The Finger the user controls when the effect happens via midi keys while with Replicant you either automate the plugin or have it "randomize" itself?

For example, using the finger & reaktor can you control multiple different lengths of repeat/loops/reverse/etc across multiple different keys? For example, C1 = 4 beat repeat, C#1 = 1 beat repeat, D1 = 1/16th beat repeat, etc? If so, what is the maximum and minimum subdivision you can have? Also, is "the finger" velocity sensitive?

On a related note, is it possible to midi learn Replicant's functions to midi notes and play it like the finger?

I LOVE what Audio Damage Replicant is able to achieve, but I also love the playability idea of The Finger! Plus The Finger offers many more effect/sound shaping possibilities than Replicant, so I'm wondering if I can achieve the same beat slice/loop effects of Replicant using the Finger as it would seem to give you more bang for the buck.

Thanks in advance for your help and reply!
