People keep saying this yet I honestly have not had that experience. And believe me nobody wants today's overall level of musicianship to be as good or better than it was 40 years ago than I do. Unfortunately wanting it doesn't make the school music programs and plentiful
paying music gigs that supported the young musicians of 50 years ago come back.
