if your mains outlet is gold too, and all the wiring behind it is in good shape. so basically, I'm sorry to say... it's 100% useless. you can go back to the store to get your money back within 2 weeks (in the EU) regardless if you used it.
if you can't sleep and think about your clock all the time, wanting steady power get a HUGE isolating transformer.
like this Ismet AG: Typen
and that WILL WORK
in the galvanic transition there's a "buffer" and it'll output PURE SINE WAVES so it'll do much better than these expensive power conditioners. they don't use these audiophile boxes in laboratories or hospitals. If you still have problems sleeping, run your studio off batteries.
some more on the subject:
I got an RF filter on ebay (Rittal) for 3,5 euros. and it's industry standard good stuff.
plus, good audio gear is shielded from EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) with a good case. (principle: cage of Farraday.)
no power conditioner is going to rid other equipment from EMI and the video shows they have a good shield on their product. This is not earthshattering news just basic necessities for a mains power processor/distribution unit.
Also the video is misleading. a lightning strike is not 6000 volts. a direct lightning strike will melt that box into a sad pile of smoldering remains, and will let the 50.0000 or more volts through. a direct lightning strike will FRY all your transformers and a lot of your ICs REGARDLESS of your mains protection.
I hope this is of any use to you. It (the isolating transformer) won't cost much. (not as much as those cables and boxes) it will clean up your power forever so you'll sleep again. and maybe it'll get you to do music.
because that is the ultimate goal. good luck with it all.

the fuses are gold plated silver.
i dont think the huge isolating transformer would work if the copper is not OFC.
testing the Furman AR-15 Series ][ (toroidal transformer)
vs.
Furman P-1800 PF R (huge cappacitor)
the AR connected to the PFR, the cappacitor wins by near 3%, and its not my imagination becouse i have a Monster Entech Noise Analizer, that diference its big enough for a sensitive powersupply.
that extra 3% is heaven for inter logic noise inside equipment.
the power on the PFR is not stable but its cleaner.
i thought that connecting the ar to the pfr the ar would be supper clean but dont, becouse the transformer copper is not OFC enough or something..
i know that good audio gear is shielded from EMI floating in the air,
but few are protected for the RFI & EMI in the power lines...
you wont believe whats there...
havent seen the movie...White Noise ?
White Noise Movie : EVP : Buy the DVD : Universal Studios Home Entertainment Universal Pictures:: White Noise White Noise (2005/I)
LOL

maybe purchasing balanced power, but i dont like transformers anymore.
runing the equipment off batteries, its intersting... but inverters create a deform sinewave.
honda inverters have 3%-5% distortion...
it would be much better to buy psaudio powerplant, that regenerates the power with a sine wave generator and a bridge amplifier.
buy i want to build my own power plant with qsc amps that have great lows.
