the clock i have is affected, but.. im a bit disappointed with that cable.

gold plated its for corrosion and avoiding the connectors to get oxidiced over time. = will last longer, with better contact.

the important thing its the cable design, the shield, the copper quality, the isolation materials, the number of strands, the configuration of the strands.

but that cable was a dissapoinment...
something its wrong designed in that cable or the store sold me a chinese copy not 99.9999% OFC.
it works great for power amps, but not enough for sensitive masterclocks.

maybe its becouse the shield is connected to the ground pin.
ground contamination.

if its ground contamination, purchasing in another store wont solve that.
I can't keep myself from answering... LOL
Don't spend your € on audiophool trash like that!
a gold connector will only be useful (0,00000001% improvement on the final product) if your mains outlet is gold too, and all the wiring behind it is in good shape. so basically, I'm sorry to say... it's 100% useless. you can go back to the store to get your money back within 2 weeks (in the EU) regardless if you used it.
if you can't sleep and think about your clock all the time, wanting steady power get a HUGE isolating transformer.
like this Ismet AG: Typen
and that WILL WORK
in the galvanic transition there's a "buffer" and it'll output PURE SINE WAVES so it'll do much better than these expensive power conditioners. they don't use audiophile boxes in laboratories or hospitals they use these big isolating transformers. So who can you trust? The "too much money in the pocket and no clear purpose in life" middle age audiophool, that runs his cables off the ground using ceramic pods, so he/she can get a kick out of the "huge improvement" playing crap CDs on a CD player made of rare earth metals, or hundreds of engineers that developed systems to keep hospitals and critical industry processes running......
some more on the subject:
I got an RF filter on ebay (Rittal) for 3,5 euros. and it's industry standard good stuff.
plus, good audio gear is shielded from EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) with a good case. (principle: cage of Farraday.)
no power conditioner is going to rid other equipment from EMI and the video shows they have a good shield on their product. This is not earthshattering news just basic necessities for a mains power processor/distribution unit.
Also the video is misleading. a lightning strike is not 6000 volts. a direct lightning strike will melt that box into a sad pile of smoldering remains, and will let the 50.0000 or more volts through. a direct lightning strike will FRY all your transformers and a lot of your ICs REGARDLESS of your mains protection.

If you still have problems sleeping, run your studio off batteries and build a huge cage of Farraday around your house. When you post that, you'll have my eternal respect, for doing it the RIGHT way 100%.
The audiophool stuff is just toys for ppl. with too much money and too little knowledge/brains.

I hope this is of any use to you. It (the isolating transformer) won't cost much. (not as much as those cables and boxes) it will clean up your power forever so you'll sleep again. and maybe it'll get you to do music.
because that is the ultimate goal. good luck with it all.
cheers
