powercords affect equipment with powersupplys sensitive to electric noise, and RFI EMI contamination, and PSU connected to power cleaners.
some masterclocks are sensitive, some pcs psu are (usually tower pcs), some converters are, etc...
i dont see a point having a good cable if its not connected to a power cleaner anyway...

the clock i have is affected, some PCs i have also, but.. im a bit disappointed with that cable.
...
The gold plated its for corrosion and avoiding the connectors to get oxidized over time = will last longer, with better contact, than non gold plated.
but... the important thing its the cable design, the shield, the copper quality, the isolation materials, the number of strands, the size of the strands, the configuration of the strands.

it works great for power amps, but not enough for masterclocks.
something its a bit wrong, maybe the store sold me a chinese copy not 99.9999% OFC.
but it works way better than similar size ACME cables, for the size it performs great, dont think its a copy.

maybe its becouse the shield is connected to the ground pin.
ground contamination.
maybe cables are not twisted pairs inside.
maybe the AWG size of the OFC conductors its too Big for the <15Watts needed.
who knows.
if its ground contamination or too big AWG, purchasing in another store wont solve that.
great for my power amps. i was hoping to use it with my masterclock, but no, thats why the disappointment.
no need to sell.
