Hey Michael! Instead of a "ground up operation" Wes flew down to Florida and we picked an existing shell that would be ideal for the studio.
I'll admit it was a LOT of work to get it up the way we did. Tony Brett and his helpers are the guys who really brought to life what Wes did on the drawing board. Aside from Tony's work, I supervised the rest of the building phases every step of the way learning every square inch of the studio. Another positive was having my family (back in Connecticut) who does commercial duct for a living, so we could get that right the first time.
Bottom line with our studio, Wes is a GREAT guy and very knowledgeable, and I believe we had all the right guys on his end and our end doing the job.
BTW, I can't wait to see your place finished! I was there in '08 just before your first slab was poured. I regularly check your blog.
