mumblesound, the wheel is simple. These attempts at analysis begin with very simple concepts, not realistic but useful nevertheless. Take the ray approach, begins with a mirror and a friend, or even an eyeball guesstimate. Escalate to several stick-on mirrors and a laser pointer and it gets busy. Apply a computer program and it starts to get close to reality. Similarly the single impulse is not realistic but an extremely useful tool nevertheless. Note we often drive just one speaker. IMHO we should drive two AND record the IR using a dummy head or binaural mic. Closer to reality. I hope you get well soon.
