Yeah, excellent point Bounce. I've thought about putting in an extra interior partition to the left of the mix desk for this very reason, but my favorite brainstorm so far is to build a hidden gear closet (which will at first glance just appear to be an interior wall) to the right of the desk instead. I'm not sure what would be the best solution, but I'll certainly post dimensions and some sketches of my ideas for other to check out prior to any heavy work.
