Also, you cant deny that many of those features were in Audition 3.0 first. So im totally right in saying "its good they caught up".
And im talking 3.0 - you mention Audition here at Gearslutz, and most replies involve, "oh I havent used it since 1.5 or 2.0". So if its such a clear cut issue, detailing a few reasons that would satisy my curiosity might be easy for ya. If you get a minute, enlighten me.  |
Are you serious?
The first audio app I owned was CoolEdit. Samplitude has been around since 1992. It is considered as the first DAW to do non-destructive editing. The whole object-based thing came from their way of dealing with the pitiful horsepower of computers of the time. "Sampie" still can record audio direct to RAM.
Many of the features in the vid may look Cool Edit-style, but trust me, they've been in Samplitude for a very long time.
